Labor Day, the first Monday in September, was established in the late 19th century to remember all the workers who contribute to America’s strength and well-being. Many people we know work to help our families prosper and grow, which in turn helps contribute to America’s strength and well-being. Moms, dads, brothers, sisters, grandparents anyone who works is to be remembered and honored on Labor Day.
BUT have we considered those who labor for our heavenly home? Are there people in your life that work to strengthen our heaven home?
Pastors, Sunday School teachers, Missionaries, Deacons, nursery workers, ushers, church secretaries, and janitors all work to strengthen our Heavenly Home. Often times these people do so many things without any recognition or thanks. I ask that you take just a moment out of your day and stop and thank God for these people and maybe the next time you see them say, “Thank you!”
Now consider this…
What do you do to help our Eternal home become strong?
Jesus himself stated in Matthew 9:37 Then saith he unto his disciples, the harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
Are you one of the labourers Jesus speaks of? If not, then what is stopping you?
There is no better time to start than today!
