Tea is an amazing example of our lives as a christian.

What do I mean? Well,… what do you like your tea to taste like? Do you like floral herbs? Do you like your tea dark or mild? Do you like earth tones in the flavor? There are so many different things you can fill your tea bag with that form the flavor of tea you most desire.

Your heart is the same. The different things you fill it with will form the flavor that will be poured out into the lives of those around us. Do you put the floral flavors of love in your heart or the bitterness of hate? Do the earthy tones of God’s creation and wonder flow into the corners of the bag, or does the sharp zing of pain and guilt overpower the other herbs? What you put into your tea bag will eventually be revealed by the waters of truth and then be drunk by those that are in your life.

The waters of truth only reveal what you put in your bag. So, what are you filling it with today?
