When we stop to pray, we are asking God to change a situation or give guidance about something.

Psalm 86:6 Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.

But the more you pray, you will see that prayer will change YOU!

When we take the time to pray, talking to God, a loving, caring, merciful friend. He wants to hear our prayers and we can come to Him with ANYTHING. We can be angry, frustrated, sad, scared, doubtful and even at the point where you feel all hope lost and He WILL LISTEN.

1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

When you give your burdens and your praises to God, He will give you PEACE.

Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

God answers prayer! We often do not see the answer right away, but we have a peace that He can and will answer.

I challenge you to take a few minutes and cast your care up to God, KNOWING, He is listening and will answer!
