Does anyone throw popcorn parties any more? I remember as a kid going to someones house or having a special activity at church where we would watch a movie and have all the popcorn that we could eat. After the movie was finished there would be popcorn all over the floor, because let’s be real, kids get food everywhere and when they are focusing on a movie they can’t help but miss their little mouths. (Maybe that is why we don’t do them anymore.)

Anyway, I really miss those times. As a teen we would talk during the movie while stuffing our mouths. The conversation usually turned into debating if the guy in the movie was cute, which usually ended up in girly argument. Such fun times.

I wish as adults we would spend time with friends like this again. You could be yourself, no matter how messy or unkept, you were fine. What do you guys think? Should we bring back the all-can-eat popcorn parties? For adults?
