Too often we find ourselves lost in other worlds, rather than being forcusted on our own. We filll our eyes with fantasies on our TVs or in our phones. Our minds are more focused on the “what if’s” or the “I wishes” that we fail to see the blessings in our own lives. I know that I am this way. I see a wonderful land that I could only imagine living in and before I know it that is what fills my mind. I think about it when I go to bed, and then it returns the moment I wake up. My heart desires that world more than my own because of it’s wonder and the beautiful people in it. I become lost in the other world.

God doesn’t want us to live in these fantasies. He doesn’t want our minds to focus more on the places we see in books or on our screens. He has created a world worthy of our focus right here on earth. So, don’t get lost in these other worlds that don’t really exist. Let’s explore the places around us and get to know the people that God brings into our lives. I promise you, it will be far more fulfilling then any world on your screens or in your books.
