I was scrolling through social media today and noticed a trend.

Why is it that many stories have a child (which this can also happen to adults) that is constantly being looked down upon for something that their parent did wrong?

I wish that I could say that I never did this, but truthfully, I do it without even realizing. Too often this is the natural responce.

I want us to stop and think about that child for a moment. It was not their decision to be born to someone that made the wrong choices. But how people treat them after will form them into the adults they will become. They just want to be their own person, so… we need to let them. We can’t judge anyone by anothers actions or decisions. But let’s help that child to see that there is another way in Christ, which is full of joy and hope.
