I saw this picture today and thought about the movie, It’s a wonderful life, which I hate by the way. He says that he is going to get his girl the moon by throwing a lasso around it and pulling it down for her. That’s not why I hate it.

(I hate the movie because of the part when George is shown what the world would look like if he was never born. Jimmy Stewart was such a great actor that I could feel his emotions and it made me think about what if I was never born. I also didn’t like the emotions I felt during the moment that his wife didn’t recognize him and he understood that he had no home and his children were never born.)

The character George didn’t realize how precious those things and people were in his life until they were gone. The love he had for his wife, in being will to give her the moon, was something that when gone broke you.

Charish those in your life. Remember you are needed here and now. Maybe don’t offer the moon, but promise your eternal dedication and love to those closest to you today.

When George was finally brought back to his life, he charish everyone in it and never forgot that he is important.
