This is me today. I am sitting at a coffee shop working hard on continuing education for my salon. Even though I have been a hair stylist for 5 years, I still have a lot to learn so that I can grow into the stylist that God wants me to be.

I know that God guided me to be a hair styles just over 5 years ago, simply because after much prayer and counsel, everything fell into place too easily for it not be of God. And when it seemed that things were possibly not going to work out, because of the school having to close during COVID, he provided a way for me to finish and then start my own salon in less than a year after graduating. And now, my little salon is turning 4 and I am still getting new clients.

For the longest time, I didn’t know that God could use me as a hairstylest or even a small salon in a rural town in Northern Minnesota, but he does, every single day that my door opens. When I opened my salon, I dedicated it to Christ and surrendered it to his will. And because of that, I truly believe, he has blessed it. That is why today, I am sitting at the coffee shop, watching video after video about color and formulating until my head hurts, because God has given me a wonderful gift and I want to do my best in it.
