Yuck!… No one wants to talk about either one of these two things. One feels restricting because it is controlling your spending and the other feels like you are giving everything away just as soon as you get it. Even though we don’t like to talk these two things, they are both important to take care of and do. If we neglect them, trouble is sure to follow.

Our chistian life is very similar in the way that if we neglect our spiritual growth and daily bible reading, trouble is sure to follow. Even though it can feel restricting at times or like it is take all of our time, it is still necessary for life. My family has always been busy with ministry. Even as a child, I was dragged to every ministry opportunity at our church whether I wanted to go or not. You can say that it took all of my time and it controlled every area of my life. But looking back now I am so glad that I did those things even when I didn’t really want to because they helped me grow into the woman I am today and kept me out of trouble that I would have probably regretted today.
