There is just something about hearing an old Saxophone play that makes my heart feel joy.
For a while in college, I actually attempted to learn to play the Saxophone. My teacher said that I was doing well and should keep it up, but then something happened and the dream of one day playing for others disappeared.
My teacher was a pastor in my church. To make a story short, he was removed from the church shortly after I started my lessons for inappropriate behaviour. My Spirit was broken and the excitement to practice with my saxophone was gone. I saw him as a wonderful mentor and teacher, but apparently there were things in his life that were not good.
I have not picked up the Saxophone since then. I still listen the Saxophone music with joy, but that incident forever changed me. Even when we don’t think anyone knows what we are doing behind closed doors, remember all that is done in secret will eventually be revealed.
Luke 12:2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.
That man’s choice forever changed my life. Don’t let something you are doing today cause another to regrettably have to change.
