I had learned from the Bible a lot about what God had to say about my sin pretty bad news so far BUT…

The Bible also said to me that God LOVES ME.

God’s love is not what I thought “Love” was. I had the idea that Love is the feeling you get when someone you like, likes you back or possibly that “tingly” feeling you get when they hold your hand or put their arm around you. I know now, that is not true love, but infatuation – it’s based on emotions and physical touch.

True love comes from the desire to put another’s needs before their own.

God did that for me! He knew I could not pay my sin debt. I would have to die to pay for my sins. Remember…the wages of sin is death.

BUT…God loved me enough to send His Son, Jesus, to pay the DEBT I never could.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth (showed) his love toward us (Me and You – everyone), in that, while we were yet sinners, CHRIST DIED FOR US. (Me and You – everyone)

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he (God) gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Jesus Christ died for ME! Willingly!

I believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay for my sins.

What if I sin again? What if I stop believing? What if I stop going to church? What if I turn into a really “bad” person?

So many doubts…Why do I have these doubts?
