I have never personally been to any type of concert. And to be perfectly honest, I can’t say that going to one would be honoring to God, or a way to show others that I am set apart in my Christian walk.

I have had friends in the past that have gone to “Christian” concerts and who have tried to coerce me to go as well, but I never have. Why? because after the fact when they show me the pictures, I really can’t tell the difference between the “christian” concert they attended and a typical rock concert that you see everywhere on tv. And that to me is not something that God likes.

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

God wants us to be different, not simply get as close to the line of sin as we can without stepping over it.

Let us be set apart today so that we can show others that a life in Christ is different, but also wonderful.
