It is early morning, the sun light is just coming over there horizon, as you get dressed to take a walk along the ocean front in the cool of the morning. With each step you take you feel the cool sand between your toes, the waves brush against your legs with the incoming current, and you see the sky slowly fill with color. There is no sound other than the waves and the few seagulls that are flying near by. A peace rushes over you.

You have always imagined walking on the beach at sunrise to see the glorious display of God’s majesty. But as soon as the sun starts to rise to start the day…. You wake up, in your bed at home, disappointed.

This has happened too many times with me, at least more then I care for. But today, I am choosing to go back and think about what it would be like to watch that sun fill the horizon with rainbows of color. Even if I’m not on that beach, I can still appreciate God’s majesty everywhere I go.
