You know the feeling. That pressure behind your eyes, the ringing in your ears, and the dizziness that always comes with a headache.

For many years, I suffered with excruciating migraines that would make me immovable for days. As a teen, I didn’t understand how or why I suffered with such major pain. All I could do was take Advil and try to go back to sleep as every part of my body just wanted to feel better.

Situations in life can feel this way to. You can’t believe what you are seeing on the screens, the sounds or words you hear, and your mind is frustrated with how the world has changed. It is little like a migraine or it is giving you one.

We may never be able to go back to the simple, traditional ways of life, but we can start making hard choices to try to make things better. Start in your family. If there is something that is bugging you, fix it. If there is to many electronic, turn them off. Or if you simply just need a break, spend some quiet time with God. Little fixes may not take the migraine completely away but it is a start. Make the choice to change so that you can life a more peaceful and headache free life.
