I recently wrote a post about the beauty of marriage, but this photo real hit me as the REWARD of following God’s plan for marriage. When two people come together, while focusing on serving God and growing in their personal walk with Him, they in turn grow closer together.

So many people think that marriage is two people focusing on each other. It is not. Marriage is three people and two of them focusing on the one. Who is that One? It is God.

When I got married, I did not have the strength on my own to be a Godly wife. I had to put my focus and trust in God so that I could be the wife my husband needed. And my husband, I pray that he grows in his faith every day, because God has given him a huge responsibility of leading our family. One day, I hope we can say that we have successfully grow old together in our marriage, because God was our focus.
