One day many years ago, I attended a meeting and the speaker asked us to look at the person to the left, to the right, in front, and behind us and ask the question: “Heaven or Hell?”
Every person on earth will either end up in Heaven or Hell. This is not a popular topic but a necessary one. Heaven is a real place and so is Hell.
Heaven is a paradise with mansions prepared by Christ for those who have placed their trust in them for salvation, no tears, no death, no pain, a pure river of water of life, twelve gates made of pearl, the street of the city is pure gold and has the thrones of God and of the Lamb. Sounds like a wonderful place to live for eternity.
Luke 23:43
John 14:2
Revelation 21:4
Revelation 21:21-25
Revelation 22:1-5
Now let us look at Hell.
Hell was created for Satan and his demons, it is eternal without end, both the body and soul will be there, it is a furnace of fire and brimstone, it will never be quenched, those who go there will be tormented day and night for ever and ever, separated from God.
Don’t believe me read the following verses:
2 Thessalonians 1:9
Mark 9:43-48
Matthew 10:28
Matthew 13:50
Matthew 25:41
Revelation 14:11
Revelation 20:10
Revelation 20:15
Revelation 21:8
Looking at the Biblical description of Heaven and Hell – Which place would you choose to spend eternity?
Which place do you want the person to the left, to the right, in front, and behind you to spend eternity?
What about your family, friends, co-workers, acquaintances and even the strangers you pass on the street or at the store. What do you see in the eyes of these people? Where will they spend eternity? Do you know for sure it is Heaven? If not, what are you going to do? Will you take the time to find out? Are you willing to share the free gift of salvation?
Every person on earth will have to make a decision about Heaven or Hell.
