Proverbs 6:6-11 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest. How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep? Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.

I always thought ants were gross. But the more I look into them the more amazed I am. They gather food and make their homes all without a leader. They do not fight among themselves and are very patient. They know what needs to be done and they do it. God has given them the ability to lift 10-50 times their body weight, all for the purpose of providing for the family.

Are we faithful and hard working like the ant or are we a sluggard/lazy person that sleeps all day? I hope we are not the latter.
