The Bible is not like other books it is supernatural. There are 3 important things we need to understand about it.

God used about 40 different writers over a period of 1,600 years. These writers came from all walks of life – Shepherds, Kings, Priests, Lawyers, Doctors, Fishermen and even Tax Collectors. With all their different backgrounds the main focus of the Bible remained the unified – “That God loves us and provided a way for our sins to be forgiven through His Son, Jesus Christ.”

God authored the Bible but used men to physically write the Bible. The Holy Spirit moved the human writers to record the very words and sense of God, but each writer used their own style of writing.

The Bible is the Inspired Word of God we can use it as the authority for all we believe and do.

BEWARE of men who say, “The Bible “becomes the Word of God,” when it speaks to your personally.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

1 Corinthians 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

These scriptures clearly states that God’s Word was and is and always will be His Words. God inspired the VERY WORDS used by the authors, not just the ideas and thoughts.

BEWARE of men who say “the Bible contains the Word of God.”

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

According to this verse how much of the Bible is inspired? ALL SCRIPTURE!

Psalm 119:160 Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.
